The person whose name appears on the booking form agrees to take responsibility for ensuring all members of the party adhere to the Conditions of Let as set out below.

In these Conditions of Let ” Owner ” refers to the owner of the property you are booking “The Joiners Shop” refers to the property you are booking.

[1] The number of people occupying The Joiners Shop is limited to that stated on the website.

[2] A 50% deposit is payable on booking by BACS transfer, Paypal or cheque with the remainder of the balance payable four (4) weeks before the start of the let.

If a booking is made less than four (4) weeks before the start of the holiday, the full rental charges are required at the time of booking.

Failure to pay the balance of rental charges by the due date ( 28 days prior to arrival ) will result in the Owner treating The Joiners Shop as available for re-letting.

[3] In the event of cancellation the Owner must be notified in writing. If a notice of cancellation is received between the dates of the deposit and the due date of the final payment, then the deposit will be retained unless The Joiners Shop can be re-let.  If cancellation is made within four (4) weeks of the holiday start ( i.e. the whole rent has been paid ) then the whole amount will be retained unless The Joiners Shop can be re-let. If a re-let is successful then a full refund will be made. If The Joiners Shop cannot be re-let at short notice then no refund will be given.

TO SAFEGUARD AGAINST UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES WE STRONGLY ADVISE CANCELLATION INSURANCE.

[4] Should The Joiners Shop subsequent to booking become unavailable through any cause the Owner’s liability is limited to the amount of any rent paid.

[5] The responsibility for personal property of guests occupying The Joiners Shop is solely theirs and the Owner is absolved of any responsibility for accidents or mishaps to persons or their property. All vehicles are also left at the guest’s risk and to be parked in the designated parking area for The Joiners Shop keeping access to the village turning circle clear.

[6] The Joiners Shop is to be used solely for its intended purpose as self-catering accommodation. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours or unreasonable behaviour may result in the Owner requesting guests to leave.

[7] Guest arrival time is from 4pm onwards. Details for The Joiners Shop keys will be forwarded after full payment has been received. Vacation of The Joiners Shop is by 10am on the day of departure to allow preparation for the next guests.

[8] One well behaved, house trained dog is allowed at The Joiners Shop by arrangement with the Owner. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs on the beds. Please do not leave your dog unattended in the house or courtyard and be aware this is a rural, farming community with livestock near the village.

[9] Please respect and look after The Joiners Shop during your stay and leave it clean and tidy on departure. Please also let us know of any damages or breakages so we can repair or replace them for the next guests. The Owner reserves the right to charge for any damage or breakages in or outside The Joiners Shop.
